Training Mission 17 August 2014    

There were 4 Auxiliary Vessels in training today, Broad on the Bow 11-1, Suzy 2, Harmony & PWC Facility ( Roger Montembeult ) 11-10.  I was out on my boat fishing and took the liberty of taking some pictures. One that was very interesting was Roger Montembeault towing Broad on the Bow 25' vessel in a stern tow with his PWC.  The weather was very nice with calm seas so the facilities were able to conduct various training exercises. The boating traffic was at a minimum There are many PWCs in the area so having the crews getting acclimated with taking a PWC into tow was very advantageous. When I was returning to my marina I heard on the radio that Broad on the Bow was towing a vessel into Home Port Marina. We share a common channel unfortunately I was already in the process of getting my boat out of the water so there wasn't a photo op..
